Leadership Starts with You: a Personal Discovery Workshop with StrengthsFinder and CoreClarity

The foundation of this workshop is CoreClarity, which has more than a decade of partnership bringing color and clarity to the CliftonStrengths® Assessment, making results more memorable, understandable, applicable and ultimately actionable. Hands-on sessions explore and discern how you’re utilizing yourself and how to develop a conscious, constructive plan and mindset that fuels your work and life. Includes robust take-home materials and follow-up coaching. Designed for leaders who want to make better use of themselves on a sustainable, long-term path, skill-build holistic leadership and emotional intelligence.

The training includes:

  • Making sense of your talents and strengths in a memorable, understandable, applicable and actionable way

  • Background of strengths psychology and how to take it from theory to practice

  • Deep dive into the 34 CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) and how they work together

  • Interactives exercise to understand and leverage your talents and strengths

  • Understand why experiences drain you or build energy and how to manage yourself

  • Experience how your talents are currently working for or unintentionally against you

 

Finding the Yes: Managing Yourself and Other Whole People

This is an experiential workshop to learn how to move forward efficiently. The brain works on YES and you’ll learn how to build, experiment and test your goals in a way that works with your neuroplastic brain and its desire.

 

Communication Beyond Words

Effective communication is about the relationship you build with the collaborator or audience. This workshop skill-builds self-awareness of your whole self -- body, mind, nervous system and attention -- so you can share a compelling message, be believed, and affect the change you seek. The session has a core instruction component and time to practice what participants would like to improve (anything from pitching, leading a meeting, difficult conversation, etc). Instructor Katie Chase is a trained performer, MBA and long-time entrepreneur and leader in the startup space. This workshop draws on 20 years of experience in embodied cognition and human anatomy, the understanding that the whole body participates in the performance of the brain and mind and vice versa.

 

Zero Balancing I

This is the first course of the Core Zero Balancing curriculum and introduces the intellectual and practical framework of the art and science of Zero Balancing. Instructors provide a detailed study guide, clear presentations, and demonstrations of Zero Balancing. In practice sessions, students learn how to perform Zero Balancing and experience how Zero Balancing feels to receive.

You Will Learn:

  • The basic Zero Balancing protocol

  • Theory and principles of ZB

  • To distinguish body energy and body structure through touch

  • The skill of using energy as a working tool

  • The energetic anatomy of the skeleton

  • The theory and application of fulcrums

  • How to give a ZB session

This is a 25 hour course for healthcare practitioners or with special permission from the instructor. Extensive Certifications and Accreditations including NCBTMB, AHNA, ACHB (click here for full list). $545.

 

Zero Balancing II

This is the second half of the Core Zero Balancing program in which students review the material from ZB I and learning new fulcrums that expand their ability to give effective sessions including skillful application, framing, interviewing, and more. Zero Balancing II (ZB II) is also recommended for ZB practitioners who haven't taken a ZB course in a while and want to update their skill and learn current trends and methods in Zero Balancing.

You Will Learn:

  • A review of the basic ZB protocol with an emphasis on quality of touch, focus and positioning of the practitioner

  • To deepen your understanding of ZB theory, principles and techniques

  • Additional techniques to create an expanded protocol

  • New skills and coordination in handling energy and structure

  • How to frame or set goals for a ZB session

  • To advance your ability to work with expanded states of consciousness

  • To give and receive constructive peer feedback

  • To acquire experience in preparation for advanced study
